Anerkjendt Menswear Spring 2013 Collection
The recent snow we’ve had in London and around Europe has was fun and I enjoyed wandering around, wrapped up warmly and seeing everything bathed in a while glow. That is until the snow started to melt and turn into a horrible grey slush. Now I just can’t wait for warmer weather.
I’m a spring / summer kind of guy really; maybe autumn at a push but I am not really one for wrapping up in layers and layers of clothes. So I am already looking ahead eagerly at the spring / summer menswear that I will be coveting and probably spending far to much money on.
Right now I am particularly loving Anerkjendt, the Danish menswear brand, which has put together it’s second collection of ‘easy-going, everyday clothes for laid back guys and modern geeks’.
Typical of Scandinavian brands, Anerkjendt focuses on simplicity and an attention to detail. I love their use of colour in the images taken from the Spring 2013 look book below; and also their use of a range of patterns – florals and animal prints. I particularly have my eye on the lilac floral sweater and I also like the pink blazer (both below).
The new collection will be available in the UK in February and will be available from selected retailers such as Urban Outfitters.
