Design Crush #1: Re-Turned Birds by Lars Beller Fjetland for Discipline

I don’t know what has happened to me over the last year or so but I have become a sucker for a bit of an animal shaped/themed/inspired home accessory. The latest in a line of things I have a total design crush on are these little wooden re-turned birds by Lars Beller Fjetland for Discipline.

The re-turned birds are 100% recycled and made from left-over or discarded wood and crafted into these joy-inducing sparrows, pigeons, penguins, kiwis and owls. I’d like a few of them to dot around the house in unexpected places so that they can bring a smile to the faces of everyone who catches a glimpse of them.
